Buds in Bloom opened in Traralgon in 1995. Owned and operated by two local sisters Kerry and Jan. With hard work and determination Buds in Bloom became a success. After 8 years they decided to hang up their scissors and share their knowledge of floristry with others through teaching. In 2003 the business was successfully taken over by the Rich Sisters, Donna and Carolyn. Donna brought her vast experience in Melbourne inner city floristry to the business and Carolyn, her extensive knowledge of retail. This provided them with all the right ingredients for continued success and growth. With a focus on high quality and value for money, Buds in Bloom went from strength to strength. In 2005 the business expanded to include a room dedicated exclusively for brides to discuss their wedding requirements. The business changed hands again in 2009 passing on to Hannah Symons. Hannah is a previous student of Kerry and Jan (who started the business) and previous employee of Donna and Carolyn.
